A struggling artist trying to make it. Sometimes I'll indulge in fandom amidst artwork postings and sketches. Actually most of the time. Also, I apparently have a lot of feelings about racism and sexism.

Current shows I'm watching are Nikita, Hawaii Five-O, The Walking Dead, Elementary, probably more to come as long as people of color are represented.

Anti white washing, anti white privilege, anti racism, anti sexism, anti all other isms...people just need to be decent people.

There are 100,000 Pakistanis in Houston, and nearly a quarter of a million Muslims. We have a very good, strong position. We have doctors, engineers, businessmen. In fact, Pakistanis own 80% to 90% of the gas stations in Houston."

How a ex-Karachi cop and now Houston Police Department’s officer Muzaffar Siddiqi turned a down-and-out Houston community into his beat after 9/11.

Siddiqi’s family too has been the victim of crime. In 2010, his brother-in-law was shot dead at his convenience store. Siddiqi was the only Pakistani when he was part of the Houston Police Department. Now, seeing him as a role model, more Muslims and Pakistanis have joined the force.

What a man. Hats off for Muzaffar Siddiqi.
